In February 2007, MINI USA launched the Hammer & Coop advertising campaign developed by Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners. The campaign centered on Web episodes of a series starring Jim Turtledove as “Hammer” and a MINI Cooper S as “Coop”. This ad insert was made to look like their publicity photo.

Hammer is a lovable tough guy with looks that kill and a karate punch that isn’t too shabby either. Coop is a more powerful 2007 MINI with ball bearings of steel. Together this unlikely duo is on the run, fighting for justice, looking for answers and reestablishing the belief in the power of a guy and a car. This is Hammer & Coop. This is the next classic car/buddy TV show. Get ready to kick some asphalt.
