Last summer, the US government’s C.A.R.S (or Cash for Clunkers) program went into effect to stimulate the auto industry and theoretically help save the environment. MINIs, with their high fuel efficiency, qualified for the rebates.
In response, MINI USA sent this bumper sticker to dealers. It said “MY OTHER CAR WAS DEMOLISHED BY THE GOVERNMENT.” [...]
