Yesterday we posted MINI USA sales from 2002 to 2013. Today we break the sales figures down by MINI model (body style) since the launch in 2002.
The only MINI model available every year since launch is the Hardtop, so naturally it makes up the majority of sales, about 66%. MINI Convertible sales have fluctuated wildly from year-to-year. The MINI Clubman had its best year in its very first year and has declined ever since, the later years probably due to the arrival of the Countryman (and Paceman). The MINI Coupe and Roadster are niche vehicles and sales have reflected that.
MINI USA passed the half-million total sales figure in 2013 and should pass 600,000 in 2014.
