collectibles: Matter Magazine MINI Coupe Adventure

Back in December, we posted the article MINI collaborates with Matter Magazine to promote the MINI Coupe. The project consisted of a roadtrip covering 3,000 kilometers (1,864 miles) in 12 days to 8 cities: Munich, Vienna, Budapest, Timisoara, Bucharest, Sofia, Thessaloniki, and Istanbul. From the website, you could follow the adventure with video, words, and photos. The team took two MINI Cooper S Coupes and a MINI Cooper SD Countryman.

When it was announced, we requested a free copy and Matter Magazine sent one via international mail. The 24-page booklet titled “Another Day. Another Adventure.” was actually separate from the magazine issue itself. Inside, the team recounted their ten adventures with text, graphics, and photos. Inserted inside the booklet was a fold-out map (see below) showing the route. A unique collectible for MINI Coupe fans.

Collectibles: Hot Wheels 2011 MINI CHALLENGE in white

Months ago we posted the Hot Wheels 2011 MINI CHALLENGE in Blue and Chili Red. A third color variation has appeared: White with a Red roof. It has the same graphics as the previous two but has black wheels with redline tires.

This one is labeled MINI COOPER S CHALLENGE instead of MINI CHALLENGE but is still number 30/50.

Now there is a pocket-sized MINI family brochure with all five current models: Hardtop, Convertible, Clubman, Countryman, and Coupe. Hot Wheels has released its 2011 New Models series and it includes two MINI CHALLENGE die-cast models. We previously featured the MINI CHALLENGE model in Chili Red with a White roof.

Today we have the MINI CHALLENGE model in Blue with a White roof. This MINI CHALLENGE is also number 30/50. Unlike the red one, this blue one comes in two versions: one with normal wheels (seen here) and one with special wheels and redline tires.

Collectibles: Hot Wheels 2011 Morris Mini

Last month we featured the Hot Wheels 2011 MINI CHALLENGE die-cast car. Now Hot Wheels has released a classic Mini for 2011.

Hot Wheels has released its 2011 Track Stars series and it includes this Morris Mini die-cast model. The Morris Mini model is teal with a red roof and wheels and with the number 3 and graphics on the sides.

The Morris Mini is number 10/15. It comes on collector card number 75/244 in both long (shown) and short card size.
