Here is a recent bumper sticker promoting MINI Motoring Accessories. It was included in the MINI Takes the States 2010 registration bag.

The bumper sticker says simply “THIS WAY.” and the website address MINIMOTORINGACCESSORIES.COM. A small MINI Takes the States 2010 logo follows.

Last summer, the US government’s C.A.R.S (or Cash for Clunkers) program went into effect to stimulate the auto industry and theoretically help save the environment. MINIs, with their high fuel efficiency, qualified for the rebates.

In response, MINI USA sent this bumper sticker to dealers. It said “MY OTHER CAR WAS DEMOLISHED BY THE GOVERNMENT.” followed by the MINI logo.

collectible of the day: IS MY TOP CLOSED? bumper sticker

At the launch of the MINI Convertible in 2005, the slogan was “ALWAYS OPEN”. In the US, Crispin Porter + Bogusky created a clever ad campaign around this idea. Part of that campaign was this bumper sticker (which also came with orange, red, and yellow borders).

The sticker read: IS MY TOP CLOSED? REPORT ME: 1-888-DO NOT CLOSE. One can actually call the telephone number and reach the “MINI Convertible Always Open Call Centre” and hear a funny, interactive set of instructions on how to administer a “noogie”, a “wedgie”, or an “Alabama thigh-tickler” to a convertible owner who has closed his or her top.
