During MINI Takes the States 2006, MINI USA distributed these free music CDs to listen to while motoring. They were sponsored by SPIN magazine. The CD featured bands local to each of the cities of the rally.

At the launch of the MINI in the US in March 2002, MINI compiled several CDs with motoring tunes befitting the character of the cars. One of the first was “MINI and THE MONKEES”. Some MINI dealers included this CD with early deliveries.
