One day last month we featured the Luststoff sports drink. Today is another item from the launch of the MINI One D in June 2003: a LUSTSTOFF lollipop. This bright yellow candy features the slogan which translates as MINI ONE D. THE ONLY DIESEL THAT IS A MINI.

The MINI Clubman went on sale in the US two years ago today on February 16, 2008. Because Hot Chocolate Metallic was a new color on a MINI, much of the advertising for the MINI Clubman contained a lot of brown. MINI dealerships distributed free chocolate Chinese fortune cookies. MINI produced many items to celebrate: all the way from two special edition MINIs, the Camden and the Mayfair, down to this small pack of Jelly Belly beans. This candy pack comes from Germany. The term “GESCHENKT” means “gift” or “giveaway”. Around the time of the MINI launch in the US, MINI USA partnered with SMINT to create a special edition package. For the launch of the first MINI One D model in Germany in June of 2003, MINI created several food items labeled LUSTSTOFF. One of them was a 250 ml (about 8.5 oz.) plastic bottle containing a grapefruit-lemon sports drink. The 4,8 L / 100 KM (49 mpg) refers to the excellent [...] MINI reached its 50th birthday in 2009 and produced many items to celebrate it. Many of these were available at MINI United 2009.
