collectible of the day: The Official MINI Insider’s Guide

The Official MINI Insider's Guide
THE OFFICIAL MINI INSIDER’S GUIDE
Classified tips on levers, toggles, switches and knobs.
MINI OWNER’S ONLY

This MINI owner’s guide from 2008 is an eight-page, stapled brochure that gives a tutorial on operating the often-confusing MINI interior functions of the second-generation MINI.  It describes how to customize personal settings, set the clock, use the turn signals and headlights, adjust the wipers, and control the audio.

The mere existence of this brochure makes one wonder about the usability of the levers, toggles, switches, and knobs if they have to be explained again.  Perhaps that’s why MINI wants to keep this out of the hands of non-owners.
