In 2005, MINI USA debuted the Motoring Hearts campaign which partnered with VolunteerMatch and helped MINI owners find volunteer opportunities.

MINI owners who participated in the program and volunteered hours received a free MINI MOTORING HEARTS grille badge. But one could purchase the lapel pin at a MINI dealership for $3.00. The part number is 80 54 0 414 273.

MINI USA offered this MINI TAKES THE STATES 2010 lapel pin for sale at each of the events.

The tiny metal lapel pin features the MTTS 2010 logo with the slogan “THE RALLY IS ON”.

The lapel pin price was $3.00. The part number is 82 11 0 494 752.

Previously we featured two limited-edition Disney Earl of Sandwich pins and a Disney Seven Dwarfs MINI pin.

Today we have another collectible Disney pin, the Disney MINI gauges pin.

This pin from 2006 features three MINI gauges in the shape of Mickey Mouse’s head. The center gauge is a tachometer with a moving orange needle. The back is stamped “OFFICIAL PIN TRADING 2006″.

You can still purchase this pin from Disney Pin Traders stores for $9.95.

The Disney catalog number is 400109556000.

Inside each MTTS 2010 registration bag was the “PROTECT YOUR MINI’S NUTS.” button pin to get your collection started. It came attached to a card which read: FIND OUT HOW WE CAN KEEP YOU COVERED. The MTTS 2010 logo is also on the card. The bottom of the card directs you to the MINIUSA.com/protection website.

Dopey, Sleepy, Grumpy, Bashful, Doc, Happy, and Sneezy ride in a purple MINI Cooper S with yellow headlights. The front license plate says “DWARVES”.

For MINI TAKES THE STATES 2010, there was no Travelogue book as in years past. Instead of collecting stamps, this time you could collect button pins.

Attendees could collect a button pin for each city: Atlanta, Chicago, Columbus, Denver, Dodge City, Grand Junction, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Knoxville, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, St. Louis, Washington DC, and Winter Park.

In addition to the city button pins, there were other special pins available at the events:

For the launch of the MINI Cabrio (Convertible) in the summer of 2004, MINI used the slogan “ALWAYS OPEN” which in German is “IMMER OFFEN”.

MINI Germany produced this button pin with “IMMER OFFEN.” in red with the MINI logo below.

Here’s an item sent to US MINI dealers in an effort to remain upbeat during the down economy of 2008-2009. The pin’s message “I REFUSE TO PARTICIPATE IN MOANING ABOUT THE ECONOMY” tries to be lighthearted, but just seems awkward.
