Shown above are four sales cards intended for MINI owners to give to potential MINI buyers. The soft plastic case and cards were included in early Welcome Packages sent to new MINI owners.
The sales cards came in four variations:
YOU KNOW THOSE PEOPLE? Those people who keep a journal? Who play in a garage band? Who collect vintage cameras? Who need more than an hour to tell about their weekend? Who aren’t truckers but eat at truck stops? Who are always saying, “I know this cool place…?” Who still play hooky once in a while? Who don’t always have time for TV? Who could talk you into a road trip? Tonight? You know those people? Could you give them one of these? We think they’d like us. |

The Paul Weller MINI Cooper auction for charity has ended. There were 39 bids between November 11, 2010 and the end of the auction on December 11, 2010. The winning bid by Toby Smith was £20,250 ($32,000).
Some background information on the auction is on the auction website:
Paul Weller has always been an avid MINI fan and has collected numerous models throughout the years. As part of MINI’s 50th Anniversary celebrations in 2009, MINI fans drove from all over the world to attend a party at Silverstone at which Weller was the headline act.
He was then given this MINI Cooper which he designed the exterior of, working closely with the designers and completing the car this spring.
This MINI Cooper is the best selling model in the range and would usually retail at £14,000. The car also has £4,000 worth of customisation (alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights etc). It has a 1.6 petrol engine and goes from 0-62 mph in 9.1 seconds, with a top speed of 127 mph.
