As you probably already know, MINI killed the MINI CHALLENGE series in Germany. Race teams and fans in Europe were surprised and upset; the race teams had invested considerable time and euros in buying and building MINI CHALLENGE cars. In response to this feedback, the independent MINI TROPHY series was started to replace the MINI CHALLENGE series.
